Matt Damon Sunglasses in Ford v Ferrari with Christian Bale

Matt Damon and Christian Bale Wearing Ray-Ban Sunglasses in Ford v Ferrari (2019)

Matt Damon and Christian Bale team up to take on the might of Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1966 in their latest movie Ford v Ferrari (Also known as: Le Mans '66).  Based on true events, the film covers a well documented and epic historical rivalry between the car giants and is an absolute blast for anyone who loves a good movie about motor racing... sadly, such movies are few and far between so let's make the most of this one!

Naturally, given the 60's setting of the film, Matt Damon and Christian Bale are wearing some classic style sunglasses that best represent the era; that said, they still look pretty great today, in fact, the sunglasses are almost as cool as the cars!

Christian Bale plays race car driver Ken Miles in the movie Ford v Ferrari and is seen wearing Ray-Ban 4089 Balorama sunglasses throughout the film.

These classic sunglasses by Ray-Ban have a black frame and dark lenses with two pairs of rivets on each temple tip and side, just before the Ray-Ban logo.  This is a classic Ray-Ban frame based on an original design by Ray-Ban back when they were still owned by Bausch & Lomb - then with the model number L2870.

The vintage version of these Balorama sunglasses didn't actually feature the Ray-Ban branding on the temples, but the frames worn by Christian Bale in the film still look great, despite the update.  In fact his character Ken Miles is so taken with his Ray-Ban's he even wears them with his helmet while driving.

Matt Damon plays the legendary car designer Carroll Shelby in the movie Ford v Ferrari, creating the Ford GT40 for the event which would go down in history as one of the true greats in automobile racing.

We love this Carroll Shelby character poster for Ford V Ferrari, it really gives a good view of the sunglasses worn by Matt Damon in the film.

The sunglasses worn by Matt Damon as Carroll Shelby in the movie are possibly Entourage of 7 - Beacon as reported by one of our helpful readers.  However, at $400, these don't come cheap!

If you're looking for a more affordable alternative, we think these Oliver Peoples Fairmont Sunglasses are a very close match to those worn by Matt Damon in Ford v Ferrari with their semi-transparent amber frame and green lenses.  You can find these on Amazon here.

They're back and they dress in black.  And they have really cool sunglasses because they are the Men In Black - or maybe it should be the Men and Women in Black?  Or maybe just the People in Black?

Men In Black: International is due out this Summer and now features a new cast of stars including Thor himself - Chris Hemsworth as Agent H, Tessa Thompson as Agent M and Liam Neeson as High T - all wearing some pretty cool looking sunglasses.

Tony Stark Sunglasses from Avengers: Endgame Plus Thor & Captain America

Marvel's Avengers: Endgame - Movie Poster

The wait is finally over, Mavel's Avengers: Endgame is here at last and hopefully our remaining heroes can reverse the Thanos snap that apparently killed some of our favorite superheroes at the end of Avengers: Infinity War.

More importantly, who will survive until the end of Endgame?

But that's not why you're here... If you're looking to find out what sunglasses and eyewear the Avengers are wearing in the film, you've come to the right place.

We have been careful with this post to avoid spoilers for Avengers: Endgame, but if you need to catch up with the MCU or rewatch any films for the fun of it you can find the Marvel Collection on Amazon here - some of which you can even watch for free if you're a Prime member - or using a free trial.

Freddie Mercury Wears Aviator Sunglasses in Bohemian Rhapsody with Rami Malek

Movie poster for the queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody with Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury wearing sunglasses

The new Queen and Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody is starting to build up some buzz of Oscar talk for it's main star Rami Malek, who puts in the performance of his career so far as the Queen frontman Freddie Mercury.

The film has already been released in the UK, so I was lucky enough to see it early and while it's by no means a perfect film and does shy away from some of the darker themes you'd expect in a film about a rock and roll band of the 70's and 80's I personally didn't mind one bit.  I had a great time watching this film - its fair to say it's a true love letter to the amazing music that Queen produced and I loved the movie for the music and for the amazing performance by Rami Malek.

Glasses and Sunglasses from Transformers: Age of Extinction

Titus Welliver in Transformers: Age of Extinction wearing Oakley Holbrook Sunglasses

The Transformers are back on the big screen for more extreme action and s**t blowing up all over the place, probably in slow motion, while the camera rotates around the actors as they climb back onto their feet - à la Bad Boys - wait... have I seen too many Michael Bay films?  Maybe.

The movie trailer caught my eye, not only because more of the World's great cities look to be going the way Chicago did in the previous film but because of some of the cool eyewear worn throughout, particularly by Stanley Tucci and Titus Welliver.
